Womens struggle posterized
Womens struggle posterizedis an exhibition of works created as a result of a series of activities conducted by members of three associations collaborating and working within the spaces of the SKUP association: (Re)connection, Graphic Network, and Reaktor.

The project’s focus was on networking and collaborative work among organizations whose membership primarily consists of female artists and cultural workers. The work was directed toward exploring and preserving the visual heritage of feminist groups and movements, as well as discovering and creating a visual artistic language.
Between May and August, a series of lectures were held on feminist theory and practice (King Kong Theory by Virginie Despentes, and Theoretical Discourses of Contemporary Women’s Culture, edited by Silvia Dražić and Vera Kopicl). These served as the theoretical foundation for further visual creation and the production of final posters in silk-screen printing workshops.
As part of the workshops, nine posters were created, produced in an edition of 20 copies each. These posters will be exhibited at the SKUP premises as well as in public urban spaces.
The exhibition will open on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
You can visit the exhibition daily from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, from December 26 to December 30, at SKUP, Creative District.
The project is supported by the City Administration for Culture of Novi Sad.
